What to expect from
a Moroccan bath.
Step 1 — Warm steam
The ritual begins with warmth. Steam and warm water open up the skin and relax the body for several minutes before anything is applied. Your attendant explains each stage and checks that the temperature feels comfortable.
Step 2 — Moroccan black soap
Traditional black soap (beldi), made from olive oil, is spread over the body and left for a few minutes. It softens the outer layer of the skin and prepares it for exfoliation.
Step 3 — Kessa exfoliation
Using a kessa glove, the attendant exfoliates the body in long, methodical strokes to lift dead skin cells. Intensity is controlled and softened on sensitive areas — you can always ask for a lighter touch.
Step 4 — Rinse and rest
A thorough warm rinse completes the cleansing. The Royal option adds time for a more complete, unhurried ritual. Afterwards, take a few minutes to rest, rehydrate and let the skin settle.

The regular 45-minute bath (AED 650) covers the full steam, soap, exfoliation and rinse sequence. The 60-minute Royal bath (AED 850) gives each stage more time and is a popular choice before a wedding, a holiday or a special occasion. Both prices include VAT.
How to prepare
Avoid strong scrubs, waxing, laser hair removal or self-tan for a day or two before your visit, and mention sensitive skin, eczema, sunburn or recent cosmetic treatments. The ritual involves heat, so also tell us about pregnancy, heart or blood pressure concerns.
Aftercare
Drink water, use a simple moisturiser if your skin feels dry and avoid another exfoliation on the same day. Many guests follow the bath with a relaxing Aroma Massage or a Facial Massage; the Moroccan bath is also included in the Silky Skin Package.
