The session begins with massage to warm the muscles. The therapist then places cups on agreed areas — most often the upper back and shoulders — and creates gentle suction that lifts the skin and underlying tissue.
Static and moving cups
Cups may stay in place for a few minutes or glide over oiled skin in slow movements. The level of suction is controlled and adjusted to your feedback.
About the marks
Round, temporary marks are common after cupping and usually fade within several days. If you have an event, a photo shoot or plan to swim in public soon, consider this when booking or ask for lighter suction.
