Deep Tissue Massage is a deliberate, unhurried treatment. Your therapist works layer by layer with measured strokes and targeted pressure rather than relying on speed or excessive force. The session can focus on the back, shoulders, legs or other areas that feel particularly tight.
Every visit begins with a brief consultation. You remain in control of pressure, temperature and comfort throughout, and the treatment is adapted within the scope of the selected service.
Deep tissue work starts with broad warming strokes so the superficial muscles relax before any firmer pressure is introduced. The therapist then slows down and uses the forearm, palm, knuckles or thumbs to reach deeper layers in the back, neck, shoulders, glutes or legs. The goal is sustained, controlled contact rather than fast or forceful movement.
Because the pace is slower, a deep tissue session usually covers fewer areas in more detail than a relaxation massage. Many guests ask for the upper back and shoulders after long hours at a desk or in the car, or for the legs after training. Tell your therapist where you feel tight and where you would rather not receive pressure.
Deep tissue massage can feel intense on a tight area, but it should never feel sharp or make you hold your breath. A useful guide is a pressure you could describe as a strong “6 or 7 out of 10”. If it goes beyond that, say so — the therapist will adjust immediately.
Your therapist explains the treatment, checks your preferences and maintains privacy and comfort from arrival to completion.

Controlled techniques are applied gradually across selected muscle groups.
The pace softens toward the end so you can leave feeling settled.
Sixty minutes suits one or two priority areas, such as the back and shoulders. Ninety minutes allows the therapist to warm the body fully and still spend real time on several areas without rushing. Read our guide 60 or 90 minutes if you are unsure.
If you mainly want to unwind, Swedish Massage or Aroma Massage will feel softer and more flowing. If you enjoy warmth, Hot Stone Massage softens muscles with heat instead of extra pressure. Our comparison Swedish vs deep tissue explains the difference in detail.
Mention pregnancy, recent injuries or surgery, blood-thinning medication, varicose veins or any condition that affects how your body responds to pressure. Firm massage is not a substitute for medical treatment; if you have a diagnosed injury, check with your doctor first.

The treatment duration is 60 / 90 min and the current price is AED 750 / 1,175. Published prices include VAT. Please confirm availability when booking.
Guests who enjoy medium-to-firm pressure and want focused work on tight shoulders, back or legs. If you prefer a gentle, flowing massage, Swedish or Aroma Massage is usually a better fit.
Tell your therapist about recent injuries, sensitive areas or pressure preferences before the treatment begins.
The pressure is usually medium to firm, but it is adjusted throughout the session to your comfort.
Drink water, move gently and allow time to relax after a firm treatment.
Some guests notice mild tenderness in worked areas for a day, similar to after exercise. Drinking water, gentle movement and a warm shower usually help. Sharp pain is not expected — tell your therapist straight away if anything feels wrong.
